What's the best way to deal with ebay fraud? My purchase never arrived...?
I bought a handbag for £119 (inc postage) on ebay three weeks ago and still haven't received it. The seller banked my cheque two weeks ago today and then shut down their ebay account. They have been responding to my emails and kept assuring me that the bag is on its way, but I'm starting to get more than suspicious now. I know that I've more than likely been ripped off, and that ebay covers for products not received (minus £15 handling fee), but I'd like to get to the bottom of it so this kind of thing doesn't keep happening. I know their address, full name and I'm sure my bank can trace their account details via the cheque. Is this simply a matter for the police and if so, how do I go about reporting it?

if i were you i would tell the seller that you intend to involve the police so you want to know when exactly you will be receiving your purchase, if that doesnt work get hold of ebay and the police......good luck i hope you get at least some of your money back
