Several problems with the article. There is no "photon belt" and our position in the galaxy will not change appreciably for the next thousand years. The solstice does not align with the galactic center. As I said, it is about 5 or 6 degrees away. No, this isn't something that happens every 13,000 years. It happens *every* year. Now what I have discovered is that the winter solstice is extremely close to the intersection of the ecliptic and the galactic plane, (not center). This is a coincidence and since it happens every year, I don't think we need to get riled about it.
In addition, from the article: the galaxy has no "right hemisphere." Note the disclaimer that all of this won't happen at once. Okay, it won't happen at all.
The 2012 date "serves as the middle doorway in a “tunnel” or wormhole through multidimensional time and space." Sound fishy? Sure, it's babble. It was intended to excuse why this didn't happen at the beginning of the Age of Aquarius but *will* happen in 2024, when Pluto moves into Aquarius. So, again, what does this have to do with 2012?
This idiot describes the last time this happened, 13,000 years ago, (no, it happens every year), and how it ushered in a golden age with the Pyramids, etc. Sorry, that civilization didn't appear until about 9,000 years later. But he glibly states that our dating systems have been proven vastly wrong. No, they haven't. He also thinks the word history comes from "his" "story," a reference to God. If you read on, you see that it is all the same kind of nonsense and double talk. In fact, it seems like the author contradicts himself about four times.
