I've been working on an entirely free web site that will be a sort of archive of writing-related tips/articles/general information, and one of the major features of the site is a discussion forum.
I have the basic design set up, but it still needs to be tested. I also need moderators for the forums.
So I figured.. why not try to tackle both problems at the same time?
If anyone can help me get members to the boards and show themselves to be reasonable (as in, they won't go booting people left and right), I'll be more than happy to make them moderators with many more privileges/actions than other users.

I think this sounds like a really good site, I've been looking for a site like this for a long time. I would love to help. I had a poem on here and someone reported even though it didn't violate any guidelines-I appealed and won, so I don't think I'd be the type of moderator who gets drunk with power and goes kicking people off all willy nilly.I didn't like it when someone did it to me and I wouldn't do it to someone else.

I am looking at having my wedding at Edgewood and would like to know if anyone knows anything about it either from their own wedding experience or from attending a wedding there. It is beautiful, right on the water, but the ceremony would not be right in the sand. It is the perfect set-up for what I want. Their prices are very reasonable for Tahoe and would like to know if anyone has anything to say about it. I wanted to go take a look this weekend, but they are hosting the Celebrity Golf Tournament this weekend, so I will have to wait. Thanks for your input if you have any!

Given that you say it's reasonably priced for the area, I would say, from the point of view of a guest, that it is definitely be a beautiful site. The lodge look was what my reception hall had too, and everyone absolutely loved the warmth of it. Decorations will be minimal with such a pretty location. I'd be careful when signing the contract though, they have some very advanced notice windows (payment 8 weeks in advance, etc). I hope your wedding is beautiful!

if you have what do you think? are there any benefits or drawbacks? im a scratch golfer who needs some help getting the clubhead square at impact. thanks

For a scratch golfer (i'm a 3 hcp myself so i'm close) there is only one tool, swing machine. You can use resistance bands on it and it works out your muscles directly coordinated with the golf swing. I know your question was about the swingyde, but i've never used it but i've played and practiced at the HS level and College level and this is the ONLY swing aide that i see DRASTICALLY drop peoples scores. I swear by this machine. And the best thing is i linked you the 'offical' site, but, you can find the blueprints on the net and build one yourself. That's what i did and it took about a day. to you and everyone who reads this post GET THIS TRAINER, if you only buy one thing that will drop your scores this is what you need to get. Even if you don't pick this as best answer, leave a 'add detail' on the question thing and tell me if you want me to email you more info on it. THIS WILL FIX ALL YOUR IRON SWINGS. this will help. keep it in the short grass : )
If i remember correctly it was around $75 or so. depends on how much you can find PVC pipe for in your area. and to answer your other question YES! lol it works amazing with drivers. what you do is the longer the club, the flatter you lower the 'swing plane' mechanisim. That way it promotes a longer more fluid swing with your woods and long irons and the shorter or more pitch to the club the steeper you lift the 'swing plane'. Seriously this is an amazing machine. If you choose to build one or order one let me know what it does for you. And i'm sure a pro or a local golfer has seen one of these before and can help you build/find one.
