First things first, create a web site that looks clean, clear, professional and attractive. Since you're a writer make sure your text is ABSOLUTELY flawless. People want to know more about who you are, what you do, what you've done, your credentials, your experience, etc and a web site is the way to go. Trust me, if you don't have one create one or have someone create one for you. Even if you have to pay for it it will be totally worth it.

Well, you pick your city and you go on your left to two categories principally: "Writing/editing" in Jobs and "Writing" in Gigs. You can also, no should also go to "Creative" and "Lessons". Depending on where you live there might be other interesting web sites but CL is the most famous, most used and most trusted I believe.
You don't just look for ads, you put your own ad on CL offering your services. Since you're a writer write a text that will make people want to try you and not your competitors. (It is a tought market)
Since you will be working from home don't just check your city but all big cities and see what's available and where you would like to post.

how do i stop slicing a golf ball off the tee?

I have just got my handicap on a official golf course, but everytime i step up and hit off the tee using (driver, 3 @ 5 wood clubs) i have a big late slice on it, i'm not trying to smash the ball. How do i stop the slice????

Alright the first thing to do is set the ball more to the front heel in your stance to allow more time to let the club come around. The next thing to do is on the top of your swing make sure your right elbow (for Rights) i parallel to the ground to stop coming down to high. Then the next thing to do i make sure that your hips are not leading your hands through impact. If all of that does not work set a towel under your right armpit (for Rights). This makes sure that your club face comes in before contact.

1. set ball more on leading heel.
2. make sure hips are not leading hands and are TURNING instead of sliding.
3. right elbow parallel to ground.
4. Drill is to set the towel under elbow.
