Just looking for something fun to do with my date after dinner. I am new to the area, just want to know what's out there to do.

I appreciate the beach idea, but I am looking for an actual ACTIVITY other than the usual. Something different, fun, without the pressure of creating a romantic moment. That will happen on it's own if that's what's suppose to happen.

I am looking at having my wedding at Edgewood and would like to know if anyone knows anything about it either from their own wedding experience or from attending a wedding there. It is beautiful, right on the water, but the ceremony would not be right in the sand. It is the perfect set-up for what I want. Their prices are very reasonable for Tahoe and would like to know if anyone has anything to say about it. I wanted to go take a look this weekend, but they are hosting the Celebrity Golf Tournament this weekend, so I will have to wait. Thanks for your input if you have any!

Given that you say it's reasonably priced for the area, I would say, from the point of view of a guest, that it is definitely be a beautiful site. The lodge look was what my reception hall had too, and everyone absolutely loved the warmth of it. Decorations will be minimal with such a pretty location. I'd be careful when signing the contract though, they have some very advanced notice windows (payment 8 weeks in advance, etc). I hope your wedding is beautiful!

Help me fill in my wardrobe?

This is for my Spring/Summer purchases. I typically shop at JCrew, Ann Taylor Loft, Old Navy & some dept. stores like JCP or Macy's. I wear a 6.

This is what I have so far:
White wide leg pants
Grey wide leg pants
Dark denim pedal pushers (Old Navy)
Short pin striped shorts in white & navy (Old Navy)
Khaki jacket
Light yellow short sleeve top
Mocha cotton puffed sleeve top
Black tank
Red tank
Navy w/ tiny white dots sundress(smocked, casual)
Navy dress w/ tie back & circular skirt

These are just the things I've bought recently. I still have bermuda shorts, peasant skirts, cami's from last summer.

Any ideas for wardrobe staples I could add?? I was thinking white wedge shoes but maybe I should get kelly green or red - something w/ a POP of color?

Maybe a lace or ruffle blouse!!

Does your baby wearing clothing sizes matching his/her age?

My little boy is only 3 1/2 months, but all of those "3-6 month" outfits have long been put away. I know clothing runs small/big depending, but goodness...he's wearing 9 months and 12-18 months in some! I know my dryer didn't shrink everything that much!

Just wondering...does your baby match his clothing age? Bigger? Smaller?

My sons never wore their "size" by age - they consistently changed sizes every 2 months as a new baby, and now they are wearing sizes one year and 2 years ahead of them by age. Plus some brands fit differently, namely Carter's is the to me the median size by age, Gap kids the largest followed by the Children's Place and Gymboree, then Circo, Sprockets and other low end brands run small.
